Covid 19 Safety Plan

Introduction:

This COVID-19 Safety Plan outlines the measures FLY N CRUISE SHUTTLES Pty Ltd will implement to ensure the safety of our employees, passengers, and the community in line with NSW Health guidelines.

This plan ensures that FLY N CRUISE SHUTTLES Pty Ltd adheres to NSW Health guidelines to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19 and safeguard the health of our community

1. Hygiene and Cleaning

Hand Hygiene:

  • Provide hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol content in all vehicles and at office premises.
  • Encourage regular hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Surface Cleaning:

  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, seat belts, steering wheels) regularly and after each trip.
  • Conduct a thorough cleaning of vehicles daily with approved disinfectants.

Ventilation:

  • Ensure vehicles are well-ventilated by keeping windows open when possible and using air conditioning with fresh air intake.

2. Physical Distancing

Passenger Limits:

  • Limit the number of passengers per vehicle to ensure physical distancing, following current NSW Health guidelines.

Seating Arrangements:

  • Use seating arrangements that maximize physical distancing between passengers.

Contactless Transactions:

  • Promote online booking and payment to minimize physical contact.
  • Provide contactless payment options where possible.

3. Health and Wellbeing of Staff

Health Monitoring:

  • Conduct daily health checks for drivers and staff, including temperature screening.
  • Ensure any staff member showing symptoms of COVID-19 stays home and gets tested.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Provide masks and gloves to drivers and staff.
  • Require drivers and staff to wear masks while on duty.

Training:

  • Provide training on COVID-19 safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, hygiene practices, and physical distancing measures.

4. Communication and Record Keeping

Passenger Information:

  • Collect and maintain a record of passenger details for contact tracing purposes, including name, contact number, and travel dates.
  • Inform passengers of the COVID-19 safety measures in place before their trip.

Signage:

  • Display signage in vehicles and office premises to remind passengers and staff of hygiene practices and physical distancing.

Incident Reporting:

  • Develop a protocol for reporting and managing any suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 among staff or passengers.

Communication Channels:

  • Maintain open communication with staff and passengers regarding updates and changes to COVID-19 safety measures.

5. Managing COVID-19 Risks

Response Plan:

  • Develop a response plan for managing COVID-19 cases, including isolation, testing, and contact tracing procedures.
  • Ensure all staff are aware of the response plan and their responsibilities in case of an outbreak.

Isolation Measures:

  • Identify and set up isolation areas for passengers or staff who develop symptoms during transit.
  • Coordination with Health Authorities:
  • Maintain contact with local health authorities and follow their guidance for managing and reporting COVID-19 cases.

6. Additional Measures

Masks and Face Coverings:

  • Require all passengers to wear masks while in the vehicle.
  • Physical Barriers:
  • Install physical barriers (e.g., plastic screens) between drivers and passengers where possible.

Regular Updates:

  • Stay informed about the latest COVID-19 guidelines from NSW Health and update the safety plan accordingly.

7. Review and Monitoring

Regular Review:

  • Review*s and update the COVID-19 Safety Plan regularly to ensure it remains effective and compliant with current guidelines.

Monitoring Compliance:

  • Monitor compliance with the safety measures and take corrective actions when necessary.
